Who can take part

  • You have confirmed small cell lung cancer based on pathology (biopsy or similar test).
  • Your cancer doctor is planning chest (thoracic) radiation using proton beam IMPT.
  • The planned treatment dose is 30 to 66 “Gy” over 15 to 33 sessions (fractions).
  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You have not had prior radiation that would overlap a lot with the new treatment area.
  • You are not pregnant.
