Who can take part

  • You are scheduled to have eye surgery for crossed/misaligned eyes (strabismus).
  • Your upcoming surgery involves touching or moving the eye and tensioning extra eye muscles.
  • The study needs you to be able to undergo the planned eye-muscle manipulation during surgery.
  • You should not be born without an eye or have an eye removed (anophthalmia).
  • If you have no eye, you would usually not be eligible for this study.
