Who can take part
- You have breast cancer that is metastatic or cannot be surgically removed.
- You’ve had 1–2 chemotherapy treatments for advanced disease (not more than 2).
- Your cancer has measurable tumors that can be measured on scans, and (in part of the study) can be biopsied while on the trial.
- Your blood counts and organ lab tests must be within the study’s required ranges from tests done within 1 week before starting.
