Fertility-friendly treatment for early uterine cancer or precancer

Who can take part

  • Be under 40 years old
  • Have a biopsy that confirms low-grade endometrial endometrioid cancer (grade 1) or atypical endometrial hyperplasia (precancer)
  • Have an MRI showing limited spread for cancer (less than one-third into the uterine muscle) and no ovarian/adnexal involvement
  • Have already tried hormone (progestin) treatment first for about 6 months—at set doses—or stopped because of intolerance or failure to clear the problem
  • Want to preserve fertility and have a reasonable chance to get pregnant with an infertility specialist’s input
