PET/MRI scan with a small injected tracer

This study tests a new brain PET “insert” that can work at the same time as MRI to create brain images. If you’re healthy and can receive an approved injected tracer (FDG or Neuraceq), you may be able to help confirm the device works safely and clearly.

Who can take part

  • You’ve had less than 5,000 mrem of radiation in the past year
  • You are at least 21 years old
  • You can and agree to have a tracer injected (6–12 mCi of FDG or Neuraceq)
  • You can sign written consent after understanding the study
  • You have no known allergy to the injected imaging tracer
  • You do not have metal implants that would be unsafe for MRI
