Who can take part

  • You are age 18 to under 75, and your BMI is under 40
  • You are generally healthy, based on your medical history and exam
  • Your heart rate and blood pressure are within a safe range (or controlled with medication if you have knee arthritis and hypertension)
  • If you can become pregnant, you must use highly effective birth control or avoid pregnancy risks for the required time before the study
  • You have no known allergy or serious reaction to Pitocin (oxytocin)
  • You do not have conditions or medicines that fit the exclusion list, especially daily benzodiazepines or daily pain medicines, diabetes, neuropathy, or eye problems
