Who can take part
- You must be female and at least 18 years old.
- You must be able to read, understand English, and consent to join the study.
- If you have chronic pain, you must have fibromyalgia and/or a diagnosed chronic pain condition.
- If you join the chronic pain group, you must either currently take opioid pain medicine or not take opioids (you’re usually grouped that way).
- You cannot have a history of chronic pain if you are joining as a healthy control.
- You must be able to safely do MRI (brain scanning) and do all study tasks over time.
