  • You can speak and understand English well enough for study visits
  • You currently use opioids recreationally
  • Your current weight is within 20% of your “ideal” weight
  • You have not had chronic pain (no pain on most days for the past 3 months)
  • Your blood pressure, heart rate, and EKG (heart test) must be in safe ranges
  • Your blood tests should not show major health problems that make participation unsafe
