Early study of a new catheter valve for tricuspid regurgitation

If you qualify, it may help improve valve function and symptoms, while doctors closely track safety and follow-up results.

Who can take part

  • Your heart team thinks your tricuspid valve leak is causing symptoms even with medicines (including water pills/diuretics), and you’re a candidate for a bioprosthetic valve replacement
  • Your heart team says you have an intermediate (or higher) risk of death with tricuspid valve surgery
  • Your echo tests (ultrasound) show severe tricuspid regurgitation, based on specialist review
  • You’re at least NYHA class II (symptoms with activity) and can be treated through a vein from the groin using the trial device
  • You and your doctor agree you can return for all required follow-up visits after the procedure
  • You have enough life expectancy (24 months or more) to participate
