Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older
- Your blockage is in the superficial femoral artery to the knee area (femoral-popliteal), and matches TASC C or D pattern
- The blockage starts in the thigh artery and does not go past the area behind the knee (intercondylar notch, P2)
- You have at least one good blood-flow route down the leg to the foot (the plantar arch)
- Your symptoms fall in Rutherford stage 2 to 5 (moderate to more serious circulation problems, but not sudden limb loss)
