Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have leg pain or wounds due to poor blood flow (Rutherford class 2 to 6).
- The blocked artery is in your thigh or knee area (above the knee) or in the lower leg (below the knee), but not both at once.
- If the blockage is above the knee, you need at least one open artery below the knee to your ankle.
- Any other blockages closer to your hip must be successfully opened first.
- You are not on dialysis, and you have not had a major amputation planned on the treated leg.
