Trastuzumab with chemo for HER2-positive breast cancer

HER2-positive Breast Cancer

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This Phase 2 study tests whether adding trastuzumab (a targeted antibody) given with chemo and extra drugs can better treat certain HER2-positive, locally advanced or inflammatory breast cancers. It may help by improving cancer control in people who have not had prior anti-cancer treatment for their breast cancer.

Pyrotinib and trastuzumab with chemo for HER2+ advanced breast cancer

This trial tests a combination of two targeted medicines (pyrotinib and trastuzumab) with chemotherapy to treat HER2-positive advanced breast cancer that has returned or spread after stopping trastuzumab.

NCT07635342Recruiting· Phase 2
Pyrotinib plus trastuzumab and chemotherapy for HER2-positive early breast cancer

This trial tests a combination of three drugs—pyrotinib, trastuzumab, and chemotherapy—to treat HER2-positive breast cancer that has not been treated before. HER2 is a protein found on some cancer cells; blocking it may help stop the cancer from growing.

NCT06832904Recruiting· Phase 2
Chemo plus two targeted drugs before surgery for HER2+ breast cancer

This trial tests whether giving a combination of two targeted drugs (pyrotinib and trastuzumab) along with standard chemotherapy before surgery can work better for HER2-positive breast cancer. It is for women whose cancer has not spread to distant organs and who have not yet had treatment for their cancer.

Pyrotinib with trastuzumab for HER2-positive breast cancer maintenance

This trial tests a combination of two targeted drugs (pyrotinib and trastuzumab) as maintenance therapy to keep HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread under control. It is for women who have already received some first-line treatment and are stable enough to continue therapy.

Maintenance therapy for HER2-positive advanced breast cancer

This trial is testing a new medicine as the first treatment for HER2-positive breast cancer that has spread or cannot be removed. It's for women who have not had chemotherapy for advanced disease.

NCT04158856Not yet recruiting· Phase 2
Adjuvant anti-HER2 therapy after early HER2-positive breast cancer surgery

This Phase 2 trial studies a second anti-HER2 treatment (given after surgery) to help lower the risk of breast cancer coming back in people with very small, node-negative, HER2-positive tumors. It will also closely monitor heart function and other side effects because these medicines can affect the body.
