T-DXd with pyrotinib for first-line HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your breast cancer must be HER2-positive (a protein that helps cancer grow) and have spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) or cannot be removed by surgery.
  • You must not have had chemotherapy or HER2-targeted therapy for advanced or metastatic breast cancer before, unless you only had one line of hormone therapy.
  • You must be well enough to carry out daily activities (ECOG score 0-1) and have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks.
  • You must have healthy organs, including heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and bone marrow, as shown by blood tests and scans.
  • You must not have serious lung problems, a history of interstitial lung disease, or uncontrolled infections.
