Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 70 years old and able to move around (not bedridden).
  • You have stage III stomach cancer confirmed by scans and a look inside the abdomen if needed.
  • Your performance status is ECOG 0 to 1 (you are fully active or limited only in strenuous activity).
  • Your blood counts and organ tests are strong enough (hemoglobin, white cells, platelets, liver, kidneys, and albumin).
  • Your heart tests are acceptable (left-heart pumping strength at least 50% and no major uncontrolled heart problems).
  • You have never had chemo, radiation, or immunotherapy before for this cancer, and you can sign consent.
