Who can take part
- Your child is between 8 and 16 years old
- Your child has intermittent exotropia (eyes sometimes turn outward) with specific measurement results
- Near eye control is not worse than distance eye control by too much (based on test scores)
- Your child can do a stereopsis (3D depth) test with results of 200 arcseconds or better
- You’re willing to be assigned to a study group by chance and you can stay where you are for the next 6 months
- No eye muscle/eye/focusing surgeries (including Botox) have been done in the past
