Who can take part
- Age 6 to 25 years old at time of enrollment
- Diagnosed with intermittent exotropia (eyes that turn outward intermittently) of the Basic or Divergence Excess type
- Outward eye turn of 10–40 prism diopters (a measure of eye alignment) at distance
- Good vision in both eyes (20/125 or better) when wearing glasses if needed
- Never had vision therapy, patching, or eye muscle surgery before for this condition
- Able to commit to 24 weeks without planning eye surgery or other conflicting treatments
