Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older, and your estimated life expectancy is over 6 months
  • You have confirmed breast cancer that is stage IV or has come back with spread to other organs
  • Your cancer has progressed after at least two standard treatment lines and/or one chemotherapy line (endocrine-only is not enough)
  • A special scan shows enough tumor receptors (SSTR) for this drug—more than 50% of lesions must take up DOTATATE
  • You can have a biopsy before starting treatment, and you’re well enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0–2)
  • Your recent blood tests and organ function are adequate (blood counts, liver tests, kidney function, and no recent major blood transfusions)
