- You are currently pregnant and were diagnosed with gestational diabetes during this pregnancy.
- You plan to deliver at Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center.
- You (or your family) plan to live in Guangzhou with your child for at least 3 years.
- You do not have diabetes that started before pregnancy.
- You do not have long-term (chronic) high blood pressure.
- You do not have long-term kidney disease.
