Who can take part
- You are 18 to 80 years old, and your overall health is fairly good (WHO score under 2).
- Your colorectal cancer has spread to the liver, with 4 or fewer liver spots, each no larger than 4 cm.
- There is no cancer outside the liver (no extrahepatic metastasis).
- If your original tumor was removed or discovered at the same time, the team must believe it can be removed and surgery happens within 1 month after the ablation.
- You have not had other chemotherapy before, other than treatment for the original colorectal cancer.
- Your blood tests and organ function must be adequate (enough blood counts, liver and kidney function), and you must not have conditions that block chemotherapy.
