Who can take part
- You had a stroke at least 6 months ago and still have lasting effects
- You live in the community (not in a hospital or long-term facility) and it has been at least 2 months since your last stroke
- You can walk around your home (with or without walking aids) without someone supervising you
- Your thinking and memory are good enough to understand the study and consent to join
- You do not have major lower-leg weakness or walking problems (or other major issues that make exercise unsafe)
