Comparing two exercise programs for chronic stroke patients

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You had one stroke (either bleeding or clot caused) more than 6 months ago
  • You have weakness on one side of the body (hemiparesis)
  • You can walk for 6 minutes (with or without a cane or walker, but not needing another person to help)
  • You do not have any unstable heart or lung problem that would make exercise unsafe
