Who can take part

  • You’re age 18 or older and have AML confirmed by lab tests (look at blood/cell samples under a microscope).
  • You can sign consent in writing and understand the study steps, including allowing use of stored (archival) tissue if available.
  • You can take and keep oral medicine by mouth.
  • You can likely complete at least 28 days of treatment, and your general activity level is 0–2 on the study scale (ECOG).
  • Your AML must match the study type: relapsed or treatment-resistant AML with FLT3 being “wild type” (FLT3 WT).
  • Your test results must show you have the needed mutation information, and you must have enough heart/kidney/liver function (kidney clearance and liver blood tests must be within allowed ranges).
