Who can take part

  • You have hepatitis B that is still active (recent positive test for hepatitis B surface antigen or hepatitis B DNA).
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have serious liver failure with blood test results showing very high bilirubin and abnormal blood clotting.
  • Your platelet count is above 50,000 (50×10^9/L).
  • You do not have other active liver diseases, liver cancer, or another active cancer.
