This trial studies OH2 injection given directly into a melanoma tumor, combined with HX008, to see if it can shrink tumors after standard treatments—including PD-1—did not work. It may help people with advanced melanoma, especially when there is a reachable tumor for injection.

Who can take part

  • You have melanoma that is stage III (not operable) or stage IV, confirmed by pathology (biopsy).
  • Your melanoma has progressed or you could not tolerate standard treatment, including PD-1 therapy; or PD-1 treatment helped before but the cancer came back within 6 months.
  • Your general health is good enough for treatment (ECOG 0 to 1) and you’re expected to live more than 3 months.
  • You have had prior cancer treatment, but it must be stopped long enough ago (at least 4 weeks; certain chemo needs more time) and side effects must be mild (grade 1 or better).
  • There must be at least one measurable tumor that a clinician can inject (at least 5 mm at the longest point, and injection volume fits 1 mL).
  • Blood tests and organ/liver/immune safety levels must be within allowed ranges, and pregnancy is not allowed.
