Who can take part
- Your age is 18 to 80 years old.
- You have one confirmed repeat narrowing inside a brain stent (in-stent restenosis) in specific brain arteries (internal carotid, middle cerebral, basilar, or vertebral).
- Your symptoms match one of these: prior stroke or TIA from this problem despite medication, or no symptoms but significant reduced blood flow on brain scan (or poor collateral flow on angiogram).
- The narrowed vessel size is between 2.0 and 4.5 mm, and you have only one ISR lesion in the brain.
- Your baseline disability score is mild (mRS 0–2), and you can take the study’s dual anti-platelet medicines (blood thinners) and tolerate the procedure’s anesthesia/contrast drugs.
- You have NOT had recent stroke (within 2 weeks), recent brain bleeding (within 30 days), recent worsening stroke symptoms (within 24 hours), or a clot in the target vessel; and you have no other brain lesions that also need catheter treatment.
