Fresh cornea lenticule implant for macular corneal dystrophy

Who can take part

  • You need to have a diagnosis that requires a full-thickness cornea transplant (called penetrating keratoplasty).
  • Your cornea must be cloudy or not clear, affecting your vision.
  • You must have low visual acuity (very poor vision).
  • You cannot have any active infection in the front part of your eye.
  • You must not have had any prior eye surgery on your cornea or the front part of your eye.
