Treatment for lingering blurry vision after trifocal lens

This study tests a treatment to improve vision in people who still have an ongoing focusing problem (residual nearsightedness or farsightedness) about 6 months after receiving a trifocal intraocular lens. It may help if your vision is still reduced despite having the lens implanted.

Who can take part

  • You have a trifocal intraocular lens and are about 6 months past the implant
  • You still have a focusing error (either nearsighted or farsighted) after the surgery
  • You have low vision (your eyesight is not good enough even after the lens)
  • You do NOT have an active problem affecting the front part of the eye (the front “anterior” structures)
  • You have NOT had prior cornea or front-of-eye surgery, and you do NOT have glaucoma or a history of retinal detachment
