Who can take part

  • You can read and speak English well enough to join the study
  • You’re between 18 and 60 years old, and your ACL injury is less than 6 months old
  • You’re having ACL reconstruction using a patellar tendon allograft (donor tissue)
  • You can have knee MRI scans and can attend all follow-up visits
  • You have not had prior knee surgery, and this is not revision (repeat) ACL surgery
  • You have no major health conditions that raise bleeding or infection risk, or interfere with participation
