Eye-sparing treatment options for children with retinoblastoma

Who can take part

  • Your child must be newly diagnosed with retinoblastoma (not a past recurrence).
  • At least one eye must be eligible for conservative (eye-sparing) treatment based on tumor features seen by the study team.
  • Your child must be between 6 months and 6 years old for the main study option, and under 6 months for some conservative options.
  • Your child must not have received chemotherapy or radiation for any cancer before this study (including for retinoblastoma).
  • A parent/legal guardian must give consent, and you must be able to attend frequent visits and follow-up.
  • The study team must find no reason your child cannot receive the planned treatments (for example, a medical allergy/contraindication to study medicines).
