Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older at the time you sign consent
- Have a planned neck (cervical) spine surgery using a removable “cage” implant at levels from C2 to T1
- Your surgeon plans to use one of these specific implants: Cohere Cervical or Modulus Cervical (NuVasive)
- You must plan to use approved bone graft material (natural bone from you and/or donor bone) plus the study’s approved internal support hardware
- You must be able to safely have surgery based on your exam and medical history, and be willing to follow activity limits after surgery
- You should not currently smoke (no smoking in the 6 weeks before surgery)
