Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 99 years old
  • You have melanoma that started in the skin, confirmed by a past biopsy
  • You have at least one melanoma tumor that can be felt or seen on ultrasound and is at least 1 cm (about the size of a pea)
  • You are generally well enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0-1)
  • You are not allergic to flu vaccines, do not have active autoimmune disease, and have not had other melanoma treatments in the last 6 months
  • If you could become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control during the study
