This study tests whether using CPAP (a breathing machine) for obstructive sleep apnea can improve blood pressure and heartbeat timing. You’ll have blood pressure checked at the start and again after 6 months, along with a sleep evaluation to confirm eligibility.

Who can take part
- Be between 30 and 75 years old
- Have high blood pressure, and keep your blood pressure medicines the same for at least 3 months
- Have a sleep study showing obstructive sleep apnea (with enough oxygen drops during sleep) and be planned to start CPAP
- Be able to use an at-home/ambulatory blood pressure cuff for the baseline and 6-month measurements
- Not currently use CPAP or a dental device for sleep apnea
