Who can take part
- Your baby should be a newborn in the hospital after birth (postnatal ward or neonatal unit)
- Your baby may be full-term or preterm, and may be small for their age (SGA) or have growth restriction (FGR)
- A parent or guardian must give written consent to join
- Your baby should not have a complex or life-limiting birth defect or genetic condition already diagnosed before or after birth
- Your baby should not be in a situation where there is no realistic chance of survival
- Your baby’s skin must be suitable for using the research monitoring cuff safely
