Leg MRI study for mitochondrial muscle weakness

Who can take part
- Be age 7 to 75 (inclusive)
- Have suspected or genetic-confirmed mitochondrial disease (or be a healthy volunteer with no mitochondrial disease history)
- Be able to get a leg MRI (lower leg scan) safely
- Be able to do a mild foot/ankle exercise during the MRI while still in the scanner
- Can follow all study steps; severe anxiety about enclosed spaces may stop participation
- No implanted metal or other non-removable metal objects that cannot be cleared for MRI safety
