Who can take part
- If you have Parkinson’s: diagnosis of “idiopathic” Parkinson’s and early stage (Hoehn and Yahr 1–2)
- You have not started dopaminergic Parkinson’s treatment and have had symptoms for about 5 years
- No major memory/cognition problems (MoCA score above 24)
- You can safely have an MRI (no metal implants/electronic devices; claustrophobia must be manageable)
- You are not pregnant, and you are not receiving deep brain stimulation
- You are not taking certain brain-affecting medicines (psych drugs such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, benzodiazepines, or anti-seizure meds)
