  • Age 40 to 80 years old
  • Either have Parkinson's disease, progressive supranuclear palsy, or be a healthy volunteer
  • If you have Parkinson's: first motor symptoms started less than 3 years ago
  • If you have progressive supranuclear palsy: first symptoms (movement, balance, or thinking) started less than 3 years ago
  • No metal in your body (like pacemaker, shrapnel, or certain implants) that would prevent a safe MRI scan
  • Not pregnant or breastfeeding
