Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease that is “idiopathic” (not caused by another condition)
- You previously had brain surgery to place a deep brain stimulator in the globus pallidus or the subthalamic nucleus
- You can do existing or required 7T brain imaging (a very strong MRI scan)
- You do not have major muscle or bone problems that strongly affect movement in arms or legs
- You do not have other significant neurological conditions besides Parkinson’s
- You do not have a history of dementia or significant thinking/memory problems based on specific tests
