Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You need to have AMD, or you must be in a control group with normal age-related eye changes (not AMD).
  • You must have enough eye clarity/health so doctors can accurately measure your retina (the light-sensing layer of the eye).
  • You must not have other eye or body conditions that could interfere with measuring AMD changes.
  • You must be able to understand the study and sign informed consent, and be able to take part despite any physical or mental limitations.
