Follow-up study after valve graft replacement

Aortic Valve DiseaseAscending Aorta AbnormalityAortic Dissection

Part of Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study looks at outcomes after certain heart valve surgeries using a valved graft. It may help doctors understand how well these grafts work over time in people who have had valve replacement surgery.

Who can take part

  • You had heart surgery with a valved graft placed (for replacing a native or prosthetic heart valve)
  • You can receive and tolerate blood-thinner (anticoagulation) treatment if needed
  • You do not currently have an active heart infection called endocarditis
  • No other major reasons are present that would make surgery or study participation unsafe or impractical

NCT07021612Recruiting
Registry study of TAVI for severe aortic regurgitation

This study is for people with a severe leaking aortic valve (aortic regurgitation) who are too high-risk for open-heart surgery. It tracks how well a less-invasive valve replacement (TAVI) using the JenaValve or J-Valve works for them.

NCT05439863Recruiting
Valve procedure trial for severe aortic valve problems

This trial studies people with severe aortic valve disease who will receive a catheter-based valve replacement (TAVR). It aims to check how well this approach works for fixing a narrowed or leaky aortic valve, and to monitor outcomes afterward.

NCT03002272Recruiting
Long-term follow-up after TAVR or surgical valve replacement

This study checks how well an aortic valve replacement works many years after the procedure. It may help doctors understand long-term valve function and identify people who might need closer monitoring.

Aortic valve replacement registry for adults needing valve surgery

This study follows adults who are having aortic valve replacement to better understand outcomes across different hospitals in Europe. It may help your care team compare results and improve future treatment planning.

A study of a new device for leaking heart valves in LVAD patients

This trial tests a new device to treat a leaking aortic valve in people who already have a left ventricular assist device (LVAD). The goal is to fix the leak without open-heart surgery, which may improve how well the LVAD works and reduce symptoms.

NCT04234841Recruiting
Study of outcomes after aortic valve replacement

This study follows adults who are having aortic valve replacement (through surgery or a catheter) to see how often certain outcomes happen after the procedure. You may be asked for blood tests and scans at set times, and some people may also be offered a special CT scan.
