Who can take part
- You have severe aortic regurgitation that causes symptoms like breathlessness or chest pain, even with medication.
- Your heart team has decided you are at high risk for open-heart surgery.
- You are scheduled to receive a TAVI procedure using the JenaValve or J-Valve system at Prince of Wales Hospital.
- You do not have a current infection, blood clot, or other heart problem that would make the procedure unsafe.
- Your kidney function is good enough (eGFR more than 30).
