Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis
  • Your age is between 10 and 35 years old
  • Your surgery is planned at KU Leuven using vertebral body tethering or selective fusion
  • You can (and your parent/guardian can, if you’re a minor) give informed consent
  • You have not had a previous fusion or previous vertebral body tethering surgery
