Who can take part

  • You’re between 10 and 16 years old (and able to provide age-appropriate assent).
  • Your scoliosis curve measures between 40 and 70 degrees.
  • You still have enough growth left (based on bone growth stage tests).
  • Your scoliosis is the most common type (adolescent idiopathic scoliosis) and fits certain curve patterns.
  • You have not had prior scoliosis surgery.
  • You can attend visits at about 3 months, 1 year, and 2 years, and your parent/guardian can consent.
