Family genetic study for eye misalignment and nystagmus

Who can take part

  • You have a family member with strabismus, infantile esotropia, or infantile nystagmus
  • At least one relative affected with infantile esotropia or infantile nystagmus qualifies, OR at least three biological relatives with strabismus qualify
  • Both affected and unaffected family members may be asked to join
  • You should not have (or your affected family member should not have) paralytic strabismus
  • If you (or an affected relative) have paralytic strabismus, you may not be eligible
