- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have at least one disease-causing change in the EYS gene (from a genetic test)
- You must be able to attend study visits for 4 years
- Both eyes must have a clinical diagnosis of retinal dystrophy (like retinitis pigmentosa)
- You cannot have certain other eye problems, like glaucoma, retinal detachment, or severe nearsightedness
- You cannot have had eye surgery in the last 3 months or certain treatments for RP (like gene therapy or stem cells)
