Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your chest pain started suddenly and is less than 12 hours ago.
- Your heart attack looks like a STEMI on your ECG (heart tracing), or new left bundle branch block with specific ECG changes.
- You are able and willing to give informed consent (or consent is possible for you).
- You are not pregnant (or pregnancy must be ruled out).
- Doctors can perform the planned procedure without needing to treat you in a way that the trial can’t use (for example, if a clot-removal method is unavoidable).
