Testing a heart-protection method after a blocked-artery procedure

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Your chest pain started suddenly and was less than 12 hours ago
  • Your hospital diagnosis is a STEMI heart attack (based on specific ECG patterns)
  • After the procedure attempt, the blocked artery’s blood flow is very low (TIMI flow 0 to 1)
  • You can participate voluntarily (no refusal) and are not pregnant or could be pregnant
