Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You had a major heart attack (STEMI) within 6 hours of symptoms starting.
  • The blockage was in the main artery supplying the front of your heart (LAD).
  • You are getting a stent placed in that artery.
  • You have no other serious conditions like severe kidney disease, active bleeding, or blood thinners.
  • You are not pregnant, have no prior heart damage, and no metal implants that prevent MRI scans.
