Who can take part
- You must be age 18 or older at the time of knee surgery
- Your surgeon must decide you’re a good candidate for a first (primary) total knee replacement
- You must be having this specific GMK Sphere TiNb coated implant placed
- You must be willing and able to sign written consent before surgery
- You should not have metal implants that contain cobalt (Co), chromium (Cr), or nickel (Ni)
- You should not have had workplace or environmental exposure to toxic metals like Co, Cr, or Ni (for example, welding or certain industrial paints/solvents)
