This study compares two designs of knee replacement implants to see how they affect walking, function, and outcomes after surgery. You may be randomly assigned to one of the implant types used for your specific, approved knee replacement.

Who can take part
- Be age 18 to 75 (male or non-pregnant female)
- Be planning your first (primary) total knee replacement on the study knee
- Your planned implant must be one of these models: MicroPort Evolution Medial-Pivot, Cruciate Retaining; or Stryker Triathlon Tritanium Cruciate Retaining (single-radius/single design variants)
- Have no prior knee replacement or other prosthetic device on the operative knee
- Be able to walk now and have no other leg/foot problem that would block walking tests
- BMI 40 or less, and avoid certain conditions like inflammatory arthritis or bone tissue death
