Who can take part

  • You need a first-time total knee replacement, not a revision or replacement of an earlier one.
  • You have arthritis (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis) or another approved condition like bone death or a hard-to-treat fracture.
  • You are 18 years or older and able to consent.
  • You are willing to attend follow-up visits for 2 years after surgery.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) must be 40 or lower.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding at the time of surgery.
